One Digital Signage partners with the Government’s COVID-19 recovery fund to help Midlands SMEs adapt and recover during the pandemic

One Digital Signage is proud to be working with businesses local to our Black Country HQ that require help to adapt and recover following the COVID pandemic.

We have engaged with the Government’s COVID-19 recovery fund scheme and local Growth Hubs to deliver funding for our range of digital hand sanitiser units, solutions which will enable local businesses to bring customers and employees safely back through their doors.

The recovery fund scheme, supported by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme, is offering grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 to local businesses during the pandemic.

The money is a 100% government grant and there is no obligation to contribute financially. Midlands businesses can then use the funding to pay for equipment to address their immediate needs in response to COVID-19.

Applications for the scheme are now open through The Marches Growth Hub and due to open shortly through the Black Country Growth Hub.

One Digital Signage is urging local businesses in the following sectors to act fast and get in touch with us:

  • • Visitor economy;
  • • Construction;
  • • Manufacturing;
  • • Business services;
  • • Creative or cultural;
  • • Life sciences and health;

The One Digital Signage team will help companies check their eligibility for the grant, prepare the paperwork and submit the application for funding to ensure they don’t miss out on the vital digital hand sanitiser units available.

The units available from our Covid Solutions range include an LCD screen for health messaging or wayfinding, an automated dispenser with nozzle management chip for reporting and are provided with SteriZar foamer solution which is alcohol-free, kills up to 99.999% of Bacteria in 30 seconds and is Halal friendly.

In addition our iDISPLAY infrared facial thermometer, designed to instil a sense of trust and safety in people across all industries as they re-commence everyday activities, is available standalone or is deployable alongside the sanitisers.

Our all in one solutions also come with a free downloadable NHS Test and Trace QR app, combined with an optional venue visitor login Android-based Track and Trace app, accessible via the built-in touch screen for those visitors who don’t have the NHS Covid-19 NHS app installed or a mobile device to login on.

Finally, businesses have the option, utilising the nozzle management chip and its reporting, to monitor the amount of hand washes and receive bottle refill notifications via email. The gyms that One Digital Signage works with, as an example, are monitoring between 4,000 and 5,000 hand washes per month from a single station.

One Digital Signage’s CEO, Richard Westhead, says: “As we continue to find innovative ways to do our part in flattening the curve, we urge those eligible to take advantage of this fantastic scheme and put the funding to best possible use to protect the public.

“These digital hand sanitiser kiosks have allowed our current clients to re-open while keeping people safe and this is a great opportunity for local businesses to do the same by benefitting through the grants available. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to get back to work safely.”
